Chloe loved Art! It was her favourite subject at school and she had always spent hours drawing, painting and crafting at home. When she became ill this became even more of a passion perhaps because it allowed her to express her feelings in a different way.
When she was first ill we were inundated with kind gifts from friends, neighbours and family many of which were crafty activities which we found to be a good distraction for Chloe. And when we were in hospital the play therapists would often provide Chloe with fun things to do to keep her busy.
Chloe was very creative and when asked to Make a Wish she immediately chose to be a fashion designer for the day! This started small but became a huge event culminating in New Look producing and selling her cupcake t-shirt in their stores raising thousands for Make a Wish.
Due to the success of the Cupcake t-shirt Chloe was asked to design another t-shirt, this time for Scottish Gymnastics' 2011 Gymfest event. This t-shirt was also a huge success, selling out on day 1 of the event selling close to 1000, which was 300 more than any other year. It also raised nearly £1000 for Make a Wish!
